Pray for the people in the enormous disaster. To date, possible more than 80,000 people die, and hundred thousands missing and homeless mainly in the Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indian, Indonesia, Malaysia -- near the epicenter of the quake that struck Sunday morning (12/26/2004) off the coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra -- to Somalia, on Africa's east coast more than 3,000 miles away.

發起人中晚記者李怡志表示，Google在國外比較常見，之前比較有名的例子是「miserable failure」及「Weapons of mass destruction」，這次「打壓新聞自由」在12月17日正式發起，18日晚上9點的時候，已經是Google查詢結果頁中第3個網站、第5筆了，台灣地區網頁第一筆，隔日躍居為搜尋結果頁第一筆。
「這個Google炸彈可說是大成功，不知道這是不是台灣第一個Google炸彈，但卻是我看到繁體中文的第一次。」李怡志說。...]
